We have to interpret Bible verses in context and comprehend it is God’s will we seek, not ours. Stewardship Bible verses or other Bible verses are substantial to followers of Jesus for the reason that they could guide them to the abundant life that Jesus promised.
Christians are stewards of God’s sources. We grow to be greater stewards when we understand to deal God’s way with anxiety, trust, temptation, individuals, and when we confess our sins to Jesus frequently.
Memorizing Bible verses aids us deal with each day life-difficulties God’s way. That is why I was thrilled, although astonished, when I discovered in an attic, five stewardship Bible verses dealing with anxiety, trust, temptation, men and women, and confession.
Shortly following I surrendered my life to Jesus the Messiah in 1985, I had a vision of an attic with five substantial colored boxes. Every box had a massive bold letter from the word attic. Beneath each letter was a word starting with that letter, and a Bible verse. Numerous mornings as I jogged, this picture became extra lucid.
One morning about five:00 AM though jogging in Brisbane, Australia, the picture of the attic was so vivid I returned to my hotel to attempt to course of action what was taking place. At the hotel, I transcribed the vision.
As I reflected on this vision, I realized it referred to my every day walk with Jesus. It seemed to be the base for a structured way to have added time with the Lord. I sensed my attic was a way for me to withdraw regularly to see God’s hand in the moment.
These are five words on five boxes in my attic, each with its stewardship Bible verse:
Anxiousness – Philippians four:six-7
Trust – Proverbs three:5-six
Temptation – 1 Corinthians 10:13
Inner Focus – 1 Samuel 16: six-7
Confession – 1 John 1:9
Anxiousness
Two to three instances everyday I check to see no matter whether events are overtaking me, and I am becoming, or am anxious. Possibly I am in a stressful meeting, or working to a tight deadline.
When I sense anxiousness, I withdraw to a quiet spot, usually the bathroom, and mull more than Philippians four:6-7. These verses remind me not to be anxious but pray, be thankful to God, give him my concerns, and he will give me a profound peace.
I present my scenario to God, ask him to enable me accept exactly where I am, what I have, and give me peace to deal with it. The target is his peace, not a answer to the problem. Recalling these verses various occasions every day, praying and believing them aid me see options. It is challenging to evaluate conditions when tensed and anxious.
Trust
This is my wonderful challenge. I try to do points in my personal strength rather of leaning on Jesus. That is why daily as my activities challenge me, I withdraw normally to evaluate how I am undertaking, and recall Proverbs three:five-six. These stewardship Bible verses inform me to trust in the Lord and lean on him, and he will make my path straight. This does not imply I will get the answer I seek merely, that when I perform to God’s objectives, with his help, I do his will, and I get a peace that’s hard to fully grasp.
Temptation
1 of the wonderful assurances in the Bible is this stewardship Bible verse: 1 Corinthians ten:13 (ESV):
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your capability, but with the temptation he will also deliver the way of escape, that you may be in a position to endure it.
Everyday, I should bear in mind that I cannot blame everyone when I fall. The Devil did not “make me do it.” Faced with temptation, I pray this verse and ask God to help me see and comply with his path. I know it is there and I need his strength to override my fleshly desires. Still, often I reject his path.
Inner Concentrate
When Samuel went to Jesse’s property to anoint the subsequent king of Israel, as Jesse’s boys entered the space, Samuel saw Eliab and from his external appearances believed he have to be the 1. God told Samuel he did not select Eliab. God reminded Samuel that God appears on the inside but persons look on the outside (1 Samuel 16:6-7).
Frequently I have withdrawn and prayed this verse, especially when I interview, counsel, or meet someone. I know external appearances influence my considering, and so I will have to seek God’s help on a regular basis to overcome this flaw.
Confession
Happily, at day’s end I critique events, go to the attic, and recollect 1 John 1:9. I ask the Lord to show me incidents I need to confess. I confess, repent and ask him to cleanse me. He does, as promised.
verse today kjv , being conscious of these stewardship Bible verses heighten my awareness for fantastic stewardship in all aspects of life, not only with cash.
Frequent withdrawals to my attic to seek God’s guidance to respond to events permit me to reside in the moment and increase time with him.
Time in my attic has shown me how to be more alert and responsive to the presence of the Lord in day-to-day activities.
