During the cold struggle we had a quite a few very great anti-aircraft together with land based mobile missile defense systems. Could we all take one of these kinds of programs and scale it down, miniaturize it and use it for you to defend and protect all of our essential oil refineries, infrastructure and even nationwide security interests? Can most of us take let’s say the small and lighter variant in the “Lance” mobile missile programs of the cold war, having a identical theory make it upon a Sandia “Sarge” variety tiny mobile autonomous system. Then employ these automatic security techniques together defendable perimeter places?
We’re able to placed them on the edge whenever we attack Canada plus consider some property off of his or her hands for helping out plus abedding International Terrorists, when they tried in order to fly one particular little Israeli UAVs they are really buying around our line we would dust it quickly. Just simply kidding, but we must turn out to be thinking safeguard in addition to offence here to have some sort of appropriate debate on anti-attack protection devices. Obviously most of us are not necessarily going to be able to war with Europe, nevertheless we do have each of our enemies in the Middle East holding International Terrorists and some State Sponsored Insurgents attacking our own troops in Iraq? Can we use such a process like this there to prevent infections over typically the borders? Probably we could actually, although how you ask?
Properly lets first look on the issues having guarding oil assets since the Cosmopolitan Terrorists wish to take down our economy using engine oil as a gun learning we need the oil to run all of our civilization. When we pay people for you to carry guns to patrol a border of let’s say a oil refinery next will they be equipped to get a single mission UAV that can do it yourself destruct and burst about impact and even whenever they did hit it, and that is remarkably unlikely, could they get out a swarm of these? The answer is not any, you have just simply missing you oil refinery asset.
Now then we will re-think a man-portable stinger missile type technique, when you could have to worry regarding some sort of swarm of these types of little UAVs, every having 5-10 lbs associated with clear plastic explosives or even a small payload per surge of two-hand grenades, you see the challenge. The Cosmopolitan Terrorists is probably not able to help take out your whole refinery, yet they may get blessed and start out an uncontrollable fire.
Remember those Refinery fire outside of London, uk, early reviews, which ended up later declined said that an plane flew over prior for you to the explosions? Well do they throw something outside; if so what. Had been that airplane manned or maybe was it a small UAV; if so may it have been chance all the way down with an intercepting UAV motto or a good man-portable system; perhaps? Yet only if bryce lee karl was alerted, actually found the idea and target, determine and fire inside time.
Could a gentleman sit and hang on to be able to fire that? Do anyone want to place the unit such as this into the hands associated with a civilian $10 each hour protection guard? Not me personally? That type of tool inside the hands of often the wrong one who knew and was trained how to be able to use it could get used to sign up for a new commercial airliner. Not amusing.
Yet if the Essential Terrorists proceed to assault non-military soft targets with regard to PUBLIC RELATIONS and oil or perhaps natural gas assets we possess really serious problems as most of us must defend this moves of our civilization ideal? So how about an Aerostat or UAV which is tethered on some sort of track with a technique on it to discover this kind of incoming threat which in turn would connect to a robotic perimeter protection process after that you could potentially destroy anything which comes in close proximity and thus protect such a great asset? Imagine on this kind of.
